WEDNESDAY WARM-UP EVENT - 2012

Start your Expo weekend off right!

Start getting in stroke Wednesday night, before the official start of the Super Billiards Expo.  We know a lot of players arrive in the Valley Forge area on Wednesday afternoon in preparation for Thursday morning, so we have created an event for all of those players.

This event was introduced in 2010 and was quite a success. Players enjoy the fast pace of play and the $400 payout for a $50 entry.

This event is a turbo, we are going to pay 1 out of every 8 entrants. Basically, all you have to do is win 3 matches and you'll win $400. Rather than play all the way to one winner, we are awarding $400 each to 1 in 8 players. For example, if we get 32 players, we will play down to 4 players and each player wins $400. If we get 64 players, then we will pay the final 8 players $400 each. And so on.

Sorry, we are no longer taking entries for this event. We need time to prepare the player fields, do the player draw, and prepare the brackets. Any last minute entries may be considered at the Player Meeting for this event, but we do not create a waiting list and we do not guarantee that anyone else will be allowed in.

Online registration for this event will close Tuesday March 6.
All other events require pre-registration, you can sign up for this event at the Expo - but we highly recommend and politely request advance registration, as this will reduce the need for people to wait in line to sign up on Wednesday.
Mail-In entries must be received by Feb 27th (checks) or March 1 (money orders)

NOTE - March 5th: We apologize for disabling the online registration for this event a day early. We have no way to anticipate the rate that the and other events will fill up with players. We realized we needed to disable online entries to allow us proper time to prepare for the event.
You can still sign up for this event on-site and play Wednesday night, your event will be in the second round projected to begin at approxitately 8:30, you can sign up anytime between 4pm and 7:30pm.

  Races to 3, best 2 out of 3 sets
  Single Elimination

PRIZE FUND:
$400 each to 1 out of every 8 players. Win 3 matches, win $400.

FIELD SIZE:
As many as we can hold... come and play!

This event does not require advance sign-up, although it is recommended so that we can prepare for the event. Advance sign up also helps reduce the amount of people that have to wait in line to sign up on-site.
